MGL Chapter 111C Section 10 requires that each local jurisdiction (i.e., city or town) be covered by a service zone plan.
105 CMR 170.550 (A)(1): Each local jurisdiction shall promptly report to its Regional EMS Council any changes to its approved service zone plan. 105 CMR 170.550(C): Each time a service zone begins a selection process, it shall notify its Regional EMS Council and the Department.
