EMS Communications Specialist of the Year was awarded to entire staff at the S. Worc. County Communications Center for their outstanding professionalism.
Advanced EMT of the Year went to AEMT Boucher of the Devens Fire Department for his exceptional patient care and compassion.
Citizen Bystander of the Year was presented to Mark Langevin for saving the life of an elderly man that was choking while at the Worcester Country Club.
The Director's Award was presented posthumously to Cheryl Shaw for her lifetime of outstanding dedication and service to the EMS community in Region 2.
EMS Educator of the Year was presented to EMT Porter for her continued dedication to education at the Royalston Fire Department and the surrounding area.
EMT of the Year: EMT Seaboyer of the Clinton Fire Department was honored for his actions that saved the life of a choking infant under some difficult circumstances.
First Responder of the Year was awarded to Officer Ramos of the Fitchburg Police Department for his extraordinary rescusitation efforts.
EMS Leadership Award was presented to Paramedic Dino for his ongoing leadership at the Princeton Fire Department and across the Region.
EMS Nurse of the Year: Jamie Catinas from St. Vincent's was honored for the care and compassion that she show to her patients and to EMS providers alike.
Paramedic of the Year was presented to Paramedic Carloni of the Franklin Fire Department for her off-duty response to a victim of cardiac arrest.
Paul J. Gramling EMS Physician of the Year was presented to Dr. Courtney for exceptional work as the affiliate hospital medical director at Milford Regional Med Ctr.
Public Educator of the Year was presented to Amanda Fiske for her enthusiastic work to make CPR and first aid training available to a large audience.
Special Service Award was presented to EMT Chaisson of Boylston Fire for going beyond what is expected when caring for her patients.
Special Service Award recipient, Katie Vear was acknowledged for her volunteer efforts in Region 2 that are beyond ony of her work requirements.
Captain Kevin Kaczmarczyk was recognized for his exceptional efforts throughout the COVID pandemic, adding extra responsibilities to his busy EMS coordinator schedule.
