OEMS Updates to STP 2026.2 and Required Meds AR 5-400

Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services (Department) has today issued the updated 2026.2 Statewide Treatment Protocols (STP), as well as an updated Administrative Requirement (AR) 5-400, Required Medications on Ambulances, to reflect these 2026.2 STP change. Both are effective 8/17/2026. The Protocols and related changes memo can be found at the following links:

Services that are equipped, train their personnel, and are ready to implement the 2026.2 Statewide Treatment Protocols and AR 5-400 prior to 8/17/2026 are to go ahead and follow the 2026.2 Protocols. All services must have trained their personnel and be using the 2026.2 Statewide Treatment Protocols by 8/17/2026.
